Whether we live in the US or any part of the world, the influence of the US president probably holds more weight then most local governments. IMO of all candidates in the fray Ron Paul seems to present the most logical and reasoned arguments for US internal and foreign policy. He is unlike the jingoistic republican neo-cons and does not seek to appease the minorities like the democrats. While the pundits can do the vote-bank electoral math I think a candidate like Ron Paul comes to prominence once in a lifetime. He deserves all the political and financial support to be the republican presidential nominee and the President of the USA.

Looking at his website and his take on the major issues, it looks like he has the same opinion as most republicans, Pro life, anti gun control, limited government. Only difference seems to be that he wants more immigration control.

There is nothing about Healthcare reform but several lines about Home Schooling on his issues page(https://www.ronpaul2008.com/issues/). Any dude who supports home schooling and thinks it is so important that it needs to be part of his issues page is definitely NOT getting my vote.
