How to repatriate funds from India

Hello folks,

I have converted money twice from Indian rupees to Dollars. RBI permits transfer of upto $200,000 per year. Please go through liberalized remittance scheme (google). You need to complete some paperwork - quite straight forward. I have done this through HFDC bank. You need to provide a reason for transfer. Inverstment is a good enough reason. I provided my brokerage account details in the US and received the money.
