Looking for suggestions for bank, to open NRE & NRO account.

After reading so many threads on R2I website, I decided I need to open NRE & NRO account both. I read some threads on which bank is better in terms of reliability and processing efficiency. I narrowed down to three banks
1. CitiBank
2. SBI
3. IDBI
I am resident of NJ/USA.
CitiBank has local branch in NJ, hence it will be convenient for me, to go there and open an account with representative. But they don't have branch in Panchkula, India. (My hometown in india)
SBI has good reviews from posters on R2I. But I will have send documents to indian branch from here. And their website is another example of 'sarkaari' website.
My brother just recommended me IDBI bank. They seem to have online account opening process. But I will still have to mail them proof of Ids etc in mail later. And IDBI bank has branch in panchkula too.
I will appreciate, if you have any opinion. I am inclining towards IDBI or CitiBank bank. I will be using NRE/NRO accounts for real-estate investments etc.
Thanks
Ashish
PS: Yes, I will rather give money to charity, instead of dealing with ICICI again :)
