Hi,
I am resident in India and working for a US company as a consultant. The company will be paying me some amount per month for services rendered in USD. What is the best way for them to pay me. I have a resident account in ICICI, Citibank and SBI.

Are you talking of logistics (mechanics) or the taxation aspect.

You can provide them the IBAN no., swift code of your bank in India and the account no. and they can electronically transfer. Or you can ask them to send you a cheque.

As a consultant (not an employee), as long as you declare the income and pay resultant taxes, there should not be a problem.
