I shipped my household stuff with Worldwide4shipping in May, 2012 from NJ to New Delhi. Have received an email last week from the local agent that the shipment is about to arrive and that I should pay CFS charges approx. Rs 4000.

Need to understand what are the CFS charges for. I have already paid following charges at the time of shipment . Want to make sure that I am not charged twice.

DESTINATION CONCOR,DELIVERY ORDER FEE
DESTINATION CUSTOMS CLEARANCE FEE
DESTINATION TERMINAL HANDLING
DESTINATION TRUCKING & INSIDE DELIVERY
SERVICE TAX ON DESTINATION SERVICES

Sam

CFS Charge (Container Freight Station Charge) - The charge assessed for services performed at the origin or destination for loading or unloading of cargo into/from containers at a CFS.

I should imagine that it is covered in the DESTINATION TERMINAL HANDLING charge.
