The Oscars 2013

Post by RBee »

I watched most of the show. Family Guy's creator Seth Mcfarlane's hosting was just O.K. all though his song 'we saw your boobs' was too much as opening gig :); he was brought for offensive effect but wasn't that funny...

I have seen Argo, Zero Dark thirty and Life of Pi among the nominees. I would recommend all 3 as one time watch. I think Life of Pi was good but Ang Lee didn't deserve Best director as movie was more of visual effects bonanza than any smart direction..

'Lincoln' is in my must watch list too due to my improved knowledge on 13th amendment working with my son's project on black history month in January. Just waiting for the DVD as such intense historical movie cannot be watched in movie theater as I would need subtitles to understand all southern drawl dialogs of 19th century :)
