Anybody moving to Pune in June'08.

Hi friends,

I am moving back to Pune in June 08 from SF Bay Area. Anybody wanted to share container?

As for my kids, 11 yrs. and 5 yrs. , I hoping to put them in Millennium School (www.myshala.com). Any other choices for school? I considered, RIMS & Symbiosis.

Need help regarding getting phone w/ US# in Pune (Is that VOIP?) Has anyone tried it? I spoke with Vonage but I would love to hear from someone who used it?

I've been reading tonnes of info. on this forum. Kudos to all those shared their experiences.

Appreciate your feedback and thanks a ton in advance.

There are several forums on return to pune 2008, Pune schools, sharing container. We are planning to return in May 2008.
We also have R2IBayArea a yahoo forum where we have been meeting to discuss areas of common interest.

Feel free to join. Next Bay Area meeting is planned on March 8th.

R2IBayArea at yahoo dot com. Meeting venue is yet to be decided, but would most likely be in some park.

We are moving to Pune in June 2008. Planning to stay in the Aundh/Baner area. This was a sudden development. Still looking to get school admissions to start 2 kids in 4 th and 1 st respectively for school year 08-09. Plan to arrive in Pune end of May. Anybody in similar situation still trying to secure school admissions.

To people who are moving to the Aundh and vicinity this year, which schools would you recommed /have secured admissions for your kids and it is still not too late to get admissions. I checked Orchid which has vacancies for Std 4 but none for Std 1. I prefer both my kids go to the same school.

Also would be looking for rental accomodation in the area which I presume should not be very difficult. I could use all the help/advice I can get.

Thanks in advance.
