Can Tendulkar win the match today? Inspite of the stellar record of Tendulkar, I do not remember too many instances of Tendulkar single handedly winning a match for India.

Welcome back, layman!

Sachin's 2nd innings record is not as good as his 1st innings record. I doubt if India will be able to win it tomorrow. The pitch also seems to be turning square. IMO, the bowlers lost it again for India when they had them in trouble at 132/8.

Like in the first test, they let the tail whack them pretty hard. 86/7 to 267....they get packed in first session.

Well Tendulkar has the mighty fighting machine Dhoni to come. he has a good innings due from him now.
We have come a long way. In my school days, we used to celebrate when India would avoid the follow on.

If somebody can win this game, it can only be Sachin. Laxman is horrible against spin. Dhoni and Raina are still inexperienced and might make 20-30 runs max. The tail won't wag for long this time as the pitch will be a minefield by then.
As Sangakara said before the start of this test, India are not worthy enough to be at the top of the rankings.

He was under the impression SL(who never win any series away from home) has a chance to be at the top. Its just the scheduling that prevented them(master stroke by BCCI ?) :)

Not a chance....India lost the game when they allowed SL's no 10 guy to make 78....with Sachin on board we should see another heart wrenching loss......either way you dont deserve to win if you dont take risks and Dhoni for the first time in a while showed extremely poor captaincy...maybe hes's married now so he's dialing down risk in his life and other avenues...

I am predicting a win for India. Hope Sachin erases his bad memories of the Chennai Test against Pakistan by scoring a century tomorrow and winning it for India (There's no Nayan Mongia now and it should definitely help)

being optimistic never helped me - headlines may be SL Crush India by 110 runs.

never know, India always surprised me
