Sorry for such a basic question.

How do I delete a thread and not leave a 'thread deleted' trace in the listing?

How it can be done or whether it is possible, I don't know.

I am about 100% sure that only the admins can see/manage the deleted threads. I arrived at this conclusion based on the fact that I can't see the deleted threads if I browse the forum as a guest.

Suri,

I usually remove the soft deleted threads on my review..

Some time I remove the soft deleted messages and some times I dont, depending on my assessment of how useful that message is for the defence of admin action.

Except for the admin no body can ready those remarks, hence it is not an issue.
