Job hunting suggestions

Hi all,

I currently work in the US. I wish to return to India in time for my child's first grade (either later this year/early next year).

I am eligible for USC and have more or less decided that we (I+wife) will return as USC.

I am in India (Bangalore) currently and wanted to do something about my future job search. With my R2I plans not so immediate, I may be proved wrong, but I am not expecting any company to speak to me F2F regd. any possible positions.

I dont have a whole host of contacts here in the embedded SW/OS internals/related areas here that I can informally network with.

I am wondering whats the best I can do about my job search ?

Any recommendations will be appreciated.
