Welcome to the forum Dear:emrose:
You must be the youngest one here to start a thread!

Appreciate your enthusiasm in such a young age to come forward and share your experience. It would be really interesting to hear experiences from a kid than a parent.
Do let us know if you need any kind of help in posting, understanding the forum structure or anything.

Kudos and my heartiest welcome to you.

Ria,

Great initiative at your age. I will read your experience on behalf of my son 5 yrs old who will soon be returning back to India.

May be if he is lucky to get the admission he will be a junior to you. Also mention which campus you are in (Gachibowli or other).

Waiting to read more from you.

All the best.

Do you see "Reply to Thread" button on top left corner? Just click there and you will get a window just like how you got earlier while replying to Jburu without the quoted post. Do not hesitate to ask as many questions as you need. I can create images too if you are confused.

When I first came to India i thought the way the way the teachers would teach and the syllabus and curriculum would be tough and hard to adjust to, but I thought my biggest problem would be language. Since I have been living in America for 10 years of my life I was not able to speak any language fluently other than English. I thought my new school in India would require me to speak in a language other than English. Only when I actually started school did I realize the environment, syllabus, and even language was just like back in my old school. It made it much easier to adjust to the new place. Until then I had been bracing myself for one of the worst school years because of how hard it would be for me to cope up with the syllabus and the language. And what made it even worse was that for the first few days of school I had not attended school due to me being really sick. So I thought that would make it even harder for me than it already was. But the first day I stepped into the classroom, I saw two girls, one girl from the same place I used to live in America and another girl who also lived in America for some years. that's when I first realized that this would be one of the best school years of my life and I have to admit it has been. And now, nearing the end of the school year, these two girls have become some of my best friends. I'm not saying I still don't miss America now and then, but I liked this change and I think that it will be a good thing for me in the future. My friends have also been a lot of help in adjusting to this new place that I have become quite happy living in. My school has been a great help to me in my return back to India.
