How is Nashville, TN - Opinions?

Hello,
I am contemplating on a job opportunity in Nashville, Tennessee. (Brentwood, TN more specifically). I am currently living in the RTP area (Cary) in NC.

Any thoughts/pointers on Nashville / Brentwood area in TN. From the perspective of Quality of life, cost of living (apartment rents), Safety, Indian community.... etc.

(No kids, so I don't have to worry about schools). How is the IT related job scene?

I lived there for about few months many years back. That was my first job. I really liked it there. There is a big indian temple. Brentwood is a nice suburb of Nashville. If you like the job then you should take it. I would not hesitate going back there.
