Do you really think it is worth settling in Hyd? Or is it better to settle somewhere in Vizag/Chennai/Bangalore?

My question mainly is - Do we need to grow our kids in this environment? My sister kids are studying in Hyd.. but every week atleast one or two days something happen and school dont run. Until last month that is telangana and now this...
My sister is even having difficulty answering questions like "what is curfew"... what is shoot at sight? etc..

that's why AP needs to split into 3 states. 8 crores is lot of population . One CM cannot rule such a big state.

Not to trivialize the issue, but there is no guarantee that this won't happen in Bangalore. The KRV guys have been quiet for a long time, and it won't be long before these goons are on to their next assignment.

I am sorry your sister's family has to go through this in old city. I hope they have water, food and milk for children. Because the other 2 million living in that part of the city have trouble getting them.
Yes, if it is difficult to answer children such "difficult" questions as "what is curfew" and "shoot at sight" (I am assuming they do not watch Indian movies) - then settling somewhere else is a good idea where they will never have to deal with any kind of "bad/negative" environment - ever.

Is there any place on earth where there is no bad/negative environment? It is on us on what to take, what to ignore and how to groom our children.
I brought up in old city and went through all these so called “curfew” and “shoot at sight” but me and my friends over there did very well in academics.
Now because middle class gained lot of purchasing power I feel some times we are thinking too much and working hard in offering too much for our children.
Sometimes it’s good if child know many things at young age his thinking maturity will be well in advance.Once has to tell everything to children along with its +ve and –ve points and let then know the hardship.
Anyway its my take on this.

I agree with children has to go though some hardship to learn. But I think if we have choice, may be choosing some other city is better idea. Anyway Hyderabad is over populated now... Any time soon ground water will be no more. What is the point in millions of people gathering at same place?
