It has been a while we all met.
There are lot of new members who have returned this year.

How about meeting at our usual place ?

Ascendes is good but doesn't have kids play area... What about Abirami theater where we can have a food court and also kids can have fun in Play area...

I am now back in australia, but my wife and Kids will love to join ... Of course struggling with initial R2I blues , need assistance to get over the initial bump !!!!

Ambience of Abirami mall is not great. Its cramped. Another option is Ampa Mall food court. It is a little far but ambience is good and there is a kids play area.

Ascendas is near, no kids play area as such though kids may still be fine.

Basera is on ECR, Injambakkam. I have heard from friends that it has a nice outdoor restaurant with place to play for kids. Anyone been to Basera, do let us know the ambience.

Can we just do like an Ampa Mall outing?
RRK, can you update the venue then pls. so that there is no confusion.

Won't Planet Yumm be better....considering many parents come with kids who can be kept busy at the play areas/beach! Ascendas is nice, but nothing for kids to do.

Let us meet in Planet Yumm this time. Nearby beach will help family to spend some time before going home too.
Plenty of food choices are also available and something to keep kids busy.

Our usual agenda is - member introduction, that is the beginning agenda, so dont be late. You will lose an opportunity to get to know your neighbour who is also r2iclub member.

Introduce yourself with name, where do you live, year of return, country abroad, where you work, kids, school where they go,

New members may indicate challanges they are facing or specific help they are looking for so old members can extend their network to help you out,

Observe keenly other members introduction to understand if that family will make a good connection to you Or for your kids.

There are several old members who tried to help out new comers, it is up to you to ask and get it.

Dont be shy you are not in US, here networking is the way of life. From getting good car driver to plumber, you need friends. Or If you are looking for change of career.

It is ok to take pictures, but not ok to post in r2iclub.

There will be ragging from old members. Pls come in dirty clothes.:wink I am just kidding. Informals please.
