Shipping a FEW things to India from US. Suggestions?

Hi!

This is an awesome forum. I do have a couple of quotes online to see if any shipping companies can help me. I only want to send 2-3 boxes. I'm American, but I'm moving to Gurgaon long-term and I just want to bring a few things. The airlines charge a fortune to bring anything.

So, if anyone has suggestions. I'm on West Coast in Seattle area. If anyone wants to sharea container or knows of an inexpensive way to ship just a few things, please let me know soon as possible. I only have about a week to get this done.

Anyone out there going from Seattle (Redmond/Kirkland) back to India (Gurgaon/Delhi)? Just curious.

Hi,

If you have just 2-3 boxes, it may be cheaper to pay the airline excess baggage per bag or box and take it with you. Shipping such a small quantity can cost a lot of money when you add all door to door services. If you do port to port, it may be cheaper but you would have to deliver it and pick it up
