Romantic regional music

Post by BeeAndButterfly »

Wanted to start a thread so we can post regional desi music of romantic nature.
Would like to listen to good music from different regions in India though I cannot understand many of the languages.

I can start with Tamil music:

Lovely thread , I am a lover of music, and music really has no language, one can appreciate good music from any language.
I have many favorites from marathi, I'm sure I'll keep adding more, for now here's 2 of my all time fav's, the 1st video even has the translation to the marathi words, for everyone's benefit.
Hope you all enjoy my choices :

1. Shukratara, manda vara by Arun Date :

2. Yugyuganche naate aapule from the movie 'Tu tithe Mi'

Excellent thread beeamma:))

I listen to a lot of songs too, irrespective of the language.

I will start with Marathi songs

The song is 'Ha khel savlyancha' [This is game of shadows]..Never saw the movie but I heard it has a bhoot angle. Anyway, the song is sung by Mahendra Kapur!!

Another recent one sung by Milind Ingle..Romantic in the sense, the song makes you fall in love with Nature and Rains:))

This one is evergreen song sung by Asha Tai..'Chandane Shimpit Jashi"..
