I searched existing posts but couldnt find anywhere any experience about shipping servers, network switches, disk storage etc.
I want to ship couple of dell blade servers (old used one), 16 port switch, 1 NAS storage and 1 JBOD (If you dont understand those terms, just assume lots of computer hardware!)
I have some questions regarding this,
0. Can I take them as part of my shipping?
1. These are not new but atleast 2-3 year old. I do not have receipts for the same.
2. Will there be any duty? If yes at what rate?
3. Has anybody done anything like this before?
Thanks

One desktop computer is allowed duty free, if you are claiming TR. I believe all the others will be charged customs duty

Yes. You pay duty on older stuff too. ;-). Unless it's for business which generates $$. What do you want to do with these old crap? The cost of shipping will eat away any cost difference.

On a transfer of residence, one personal computer and one laptop computer is allowed free of duty. Servers, switches etc. are not considered household items and therefore will not be allowed free. Duty @ 35% will be charged. If you dont have purchase receipts, it will become difficult to prove purchase value and present value and you may end up having to accept whatever value customs decides.
