Hi Maheshk
thanks for your humble reply. Of course becoming a farmer is not a bad idea.Infact i still can help to feed your hungry tummy. It is good to be quite & polite in this type of public forums, particularly when we are small frog in small pond and don'tknow aout outside world. I am willing to show you arround trichy at my own money if you are interested.I just want to help you to get out of your pond and open your eyes about the outside world.

hold on..where is that coming from? ponds and opening eyes..
My home town is Trichy and did all my schooling/college in trichy. I know trichy like back of my hand.
This is not a government office for bring overly formal. We consider fellow r2i members as friends and my post above was on a friendly note. Since you are newbie, i would recommend to skim thru some high visit threads in this form to understand what I am saying.
Seems somebody has to grow up here...

NOte: I am one of the partner of organic farming which spread across 30 acres located very near to trichy. So I AM a farmer.

Hi MaheshK
Thanks for your friendliness and it is great to know that you are farmer. Anyway, I have joined the forum after visiting few threads and felt the people are very responsible and constructive in reply & comments.I still believe in it.
So, I too belong to trichy and whatever you said about your relationship with trichy, still applies to me also.Ofcourse I didn't won any farm, only have property. Since both are Trichi'yen lets not argue / debate unwanted things.
I still welcome if you have any other responsible comments about R2I to trichy, regarding Schooling for Kids, Oppurtunities, future of trichy, property value of trichy etc etc.

I also hope to have some comments from other members of this forum.

Let's c.

Now we are talking business..
Though Trichy can be called as Tier 2 city, i would say its still under developed compared to Coimbatore and Madurai.
No opportunities for IT (in case if you are also into IT). Property values are considerably affordable in Trichy when compared with other places in TN. So it all boils down to what you are planning to do in Trichy...i.e business or going to work..

Hi Maheshk,
It is good to know that you are into farming.. Could you please add more details about what crops you are doing, the investment size, how do you manage etc.. In my dream , I like to own around 10 acres and do some delegated farming..

Surprised to hear that it is in Trichy-pudukkottai road. From my 20 year old recollection it was a dry area ( I did my bachelors in Keeranur)..
