Jani bhai,
What will you do with so much of ghee? They are not good for health. Here Indian groceries already keep very old stock and during Diwali, they clear the "older" stocks.
We make fresh Ghee at home from unsalted butter.
???
Ghee is needed the year round, on Roti, Sabjii, Pitas, Sheera, Vegetables, Bhaaji-Paanv, in milk with honey and haldi ( very often due to cold and cough ) and where not !
I am living alone,... and my own only average use is 4-5 such 1 liter cans, besides the use of oil at frying and all other places.
Amul is top of the line. So, nothing to doubt here.
Shoprite butter's 1 lb costs USD 2.49, and you buy
say 5 such packs ( each contains four mini bars ) , and you make Ghee take away the foam/impurities and liquids,
funnel/screen it and finally in quantity, you will come up with almost the same.
Why not avoid the headache, buying at Indian price ( paying per indian style of their preparation cost there ) and more to it, name is Amul - factory sealed ( SONY TV )
Also remember, nobody will tell you this, but for vegetarians and especially the secret of longer life and
hands and legs working quite good and with efficiency, eye-shinings in-tact and such
is only if you paid frictional ( Snigdha ) material thro' out from the very beginning to bones and such, regularly and from the very beginning and it will pay off later.
You need to feed the body regularly and from the very beginning, systematicaly and daily
in its right proportion to get the credits , when it will be needing the most.
I hereby, just posted the home-made Ghee techs too. ( They all have all comments about preserving, making, cautions and all such )
