The land prices in Hyderabad has reduced right now because of state division. But am sure it will increase in future once stability will come.

Land prices in Hyderabad

Post by ILuvHyd »

The prices in Hyderabad haven't taken any big hit. They have been fairly stagnant from 2008 and actually slightly improving now that Telangana is formed (no uncertainty) and a strong state Government with full majority. Actually I have seen the price of a decent plot near Ameenpur, Hyderabad (HUDA approved), go up by 30% from 2 years ago.

I am not sure about the land prices in AP which are highly inflated now. The hopes of a dream capital city as shown in colorful brochures by Chandrababu Naidu will be hard to realize. I don't think the new capital city for AP will be any close to Hyderabad even in next 20 years. Once people realize that, there may be again influx of capital to Hyderabad which is now somewhat diverted to Bangalore due to high sentiments and fresh bitter bifurcation taste still in the mouth.
