Lets do this, we can plan to meet after a month or so. Both techynt and Sunburn will not come. But more new members will come there :wink

Sorry didn't mean to scare you. My privacy is of utmost importance to me. While I try not say anything inflammatory in general, I went overboard in the atheist/ religious discussion. It's a shame that I'm not able to meet you all. I'm a bit scared of exposing my identity (a little paranoid, I know). On a second thought I should have never replied to this thread. sorry VS. May be you should start a new thread after few days.

We had a meet in Dallas and I met a lot of people who I had not known personally before. I also met a number of people in Chicago whom I had never met but invited them to my house (in chicago suburb) and then we had additional meetings in a local restaurant here in Chicago suburb. I myself never worried about my identity and in the process made a number of friends who have been in connection with me for last 15 years.

Dont lose heart. The first face to face meeting of r2iclub happened in DFW Irving temple, you are in safe place.

The meeting was between two people. ( Me and Abi. Both of us are living in Chennai Now. ) Then it become great success. We had meeting of about 30+ once in VKRD house in Irving. Desi was special guest from Chicago. VKRD family prepared superb dinner.

I am telling all this to encourage you. Your meeting will be successful. There will be always one or two who drop in at the last minute without any notice. So, be open for last minute attendance.

That's cool! So Dallas seemed like a starting hub back then with RRK and others!
