Techfest is IIT Bombay's annual International Science and Technology festival. Over 14 glorious years, it has earned the tag of being Asia's largest festival of its kind.
Though technology has been at the core of Techfest, over the years, Techfest has been taking a good number of social initiatives. Acknowledging the contribution of Techfest in the diverse fields of education, scientific and societal development, UNESCO showered its patronage on Techfest, IIT Bombay.
In its attempt to motivate and encourage people to work towards social change, Techfest has launched Inspie India, an event promoting social entrepreneurship.
Inspire India provides a platform for all those passionate social change seekers who are not satisfied with sitting back and watching the alarmingly deplorable situation of the society.
Inspire India invites ideas from all across the country to tackle the problems facing the Indian society. Shortlisted best entries will receive rigorous mentorship from experts from social and corporate sectors over a period of 4 months. Finalists will get the rare opportunity of pitching in front of a panel of VCs and investors apart from the huge prizes to be won !
