Wire Transfer Time to SBI

Hi All,

I initiated a wire transfer from Bank of America to SBI on Friday. Its Wednesday today and the money has still not arrived.

I checked with the branch in Mumbai and they say that they have not received the funds. I checked with BOA and they say that the funds have been sent.

I have initiated a trace on the wire. Does any one have similar experience in the past.

BOA says that wire can take from 3-5 business days. But I have seen the money getting transferred the next day in the past.

Any inputs will be appreciated.

OP,
I also initiated a wire from BoA(NJ) to ING Direct(hyd) on Friday and the funds were transferred in less than 24 hours.
You did the right thing by initiating a trace on the wire.
Hope you see your funds soon.
