work culture goog,ebay

Can someone throw light on your experience on the work culture at eBay, Google? How good is the work culture? Work hours? how is work environment?

I read that goog came no 1 employer in fortune survey, where does eBay stand?

I understand that work culture and peer group at Google (Blore/India) is a class apart. Since I do not work for them, I can not be very sure. But the feedback is excellent. Most other companies are in the number game while Goog is not. That would be an obvious reason. All they have now is about 5000+ employees all over the world. They can pick and choose. I can only sympathize with them in their hiring woes!

Don't know about eBay, but seems like Google has set the standard for work culture atleast in the bay area. So i would expect other companies to start catching up to some extent if the job market stays hot.
