Selection of Stuart Binny reeks of favouritism. The team doesnt inspire any confidence. Murali Vijay needed to be in the team instead of Dhawan.

Pathetic bowling from Indian side. Looks like ,as in 2007 , we would hardly get the second round.

Plus, Mohit as a replacement .Seriously selectors ..Is something going on that we need to know ?

N Srini has been weakened considerable by SC ruling and it is showing . BCCI should get the act together.

My take is Dhoni still has some magic left in him and can take us to the semis atleast, but beyond that it's going to be tough with the kind of bowling we have. If we are lucky and chase in all 3 elimination matches quarters, semis and finals, I feel we still have a chance and our batting (mainly Kohli, Raina and Rohit) may sail us through, know I,m optimistic here. Go India! On the other hand, Aus has the best chance to advance to finals. Predicting an India, Auz final.

Hyderabadi;593329I think initially ESPN3 was going to show it free to people who are connected through cable and charge $99 to those who do not have cable. I am pretty sure they figured "stupid Indians" will pay to watch, so why not. Freaking capitalism

So ESPN3 is the only way to watch WC? How about Willow tv? I checked their site and there is no information on WC.

Looks like Hyderabadi is right. $99 package is the only legitimate deal to watch the World cup in US. Too bad, ESPN/ICC are missing out another opportunity to popularize the game. The timing is so awkward, I doubt many people will actually pay to watch just half the game.

Looks like Willow TV will live stream.
Willow TV is part of DishWorld Hindi package. Also, DishWorld usually has $15 for 3 months promo for first timers.

there are websites like crictime where you can watch for free. they also provide plenty of free buffering and of course lots of malware. I have dedicated my old laptop.....

I will not pay $99. Not because of the price but I may not watch any of the matches due to the timing. I feel sleepy by 12.00

If India reach the final (in case) do the east coast peeps want to get together somewhere?

OK..Some asked for Rohit's 200..He got 150 against Afganistan.

He needs to get the average to 53 now..Rest of the world cup will help him do that.:)

I am with you on heart burn. Let's both take Zantac and hope Indians get motivated. Against a team like Afg our stupid dhawans, kohlis and dhonis could not score, what will thy score against decent teams. I think Pak will break the record of unbeaten India in the first world cup match.

I will not get to watch it, I will be on a business trip to PA/NJ this friday/saturday.
