Was it a conflict of interest on part of BJP to seat Kiran Bedi in the front row seat of the Republic day celebrations since she is the BJP Chief Ministerial candidate for New Delhi ?

Were there violations ? or Were there not ? Should the election commission investigate ?

I actually felt happy when KB's nomination was announced, but my respect for this woman is going down by the day.
Seems to be an opportunist who will stoop down to any level.

AAP had the opportunity to score some brownie points here but they let it go. Statement like " - we are happy that PM has treated an ex-CM of national capital as an 'aam aadmi' without giving any special privileges' but instead they got into whining.

The more she speaks the more unimpressive she gets. Lady doesn't belong in politics, she may have been a great administrator but as a political leader she is dud. AAP leadership must be happy she did not join them. I see a hung assembly in Delhi.

Indeed she was confronted with this, but she refused to comment and kept sticking to "i only want to look forward" line.

I wish i could also tell my boss - pls dont look at my past performance but reward me based on the bright future ahead :p

I will take Kiran Bedi over another typical BJP politician as CM anyday. She is an Alpha personality and will do or die. Being a woman and a former police officer to boot, she will know that she will be judged severely on the state of woman safety in Delhi. It seems Bhagwat had some issues with her being the CM candidate - I take that as a good sign. :)

That said, whatever I have seen of her in the media till now does not inspire confidence. IF she indeed does become the CM, it will be another good development that was brought about by AAP. They would have succeeded in changing the political discourse. Of course if AAP dies out after this election, then BJP/Congress will likely revert to old style politics.
