Is it possible to depreciate on addition of wardrobe and kitchen improvements

I have a rental property in Bangalore where I had added kitchen cabinets and wardrobe for renting it out. From what I am reading, it is possible to depreciate home improvements. But am not able to find the proper IRS publication for this.


Is it possible for such changes to be either depreciated or tax deductible?
