He said his situation doesnt allow it. I dont think free filing allows one to do returns that involve foreign tax credit form and the like.
There are lots of expats that may be using TT. Does TT require a US CC to pay ? Maybe you can get a friend/relative to pay and reimbuse them ?
You can also buy downloaded version of TT through Amazon's website.
