I often see photographs of people on facebook. They are smiling in their photos, because if they do not smile, they look glum, lugubrious, and downright sour.
I could keep my lips at neutral gear, not show any teeth, and produce a glint in my eyes.
Parents ought to teach children this trick. Naturally, one may practice this in front of a mirror. And use selfies to check if they had achieved the right face.
And then, once you have got it all squared away, trained your face well enough, you'd be ready for social media face-photo uploads that are appropriate for your sentiment in the post.

I dont think many will dare to respond to this thread. But I have a penchant for posts with such out of box thinking and extreme attention to details. I think one can his camera's ( ie your smartphone ) "burst mode" technology. Start smiling, frowning or whatever expression you want and take a selfie. Pick the best photo of the crop and voila! As an extra step instead of hitting "like","love" emoticons you could upload the best selfie appropriate for the occasion instead of native emoticons/emojis.
