Do indians living abroad think too much
Last week one of my colleauges at work, decided to quit his job and move back to Spain with his wife for good. When I asked him about his move, he told me that he and his wife discussed (both from Spain) and concluded that by moving to Spain they can be closer to their parents/relatives and pursue ...

Transferring money now instead of waiting for exchange rate to go up
The article you posted makes no sense to me. It is just a bunch of formulae with no specific examples. Can you take my scenario and explain how the "interest rate parity" would make a difference. Also we are looking at around 2% more per year. Not sure how banks can make billions of dollars on 2 ...

USD INR interest rate Arbitrage - a practical example
Basically I am taking a loan in USD (5X1 ARM @ 2.82%)

What kind of loan is this. I doubt Home equity or personal loans have such low rates. If this is the typical housing loan, then you cannot use it for any other purpose

I seriously doubt you are going to R2I. Seems like you have made your mind to LIA, just looking at this forum to validate your decision

Transferring money now instead of waiting for exchange rate to go up
I am planning to R2I in 4 years. I have 200K in cash which I want to transfer in these 4 yrs to get the best exchange rate. However I was thinking instead of waiting for the exchange rate to go up further if I transfer the money now at Rs46, after 4 years I may get an equivalent of Rs 49.50 . These ...
