When a decision is forced upon you, can you find peace?
[QUOTE=LotsOfRokda;346858]OP, I feel for you. It is not easy to give up a career especially one which you have acquired after jumping thro' hoops. And considering the baby situation, I agree about not moving now. Questioning over measly expenses is injustice to your intelligence and decision making ...

When a decision is forced upon you, can you find peace?
[COLOR=blue][SIZE=3][FONT=Times New Roman]I have not personally talked to FIL, but my husband told me that he is constantly complaining. I believe that he wants us to turn it around, try to make it more profitable (how???). The problem is not just profits, it’s the lag between when we need to pay t ...

When a decision is forced upon you, can you find peace?
[QUOTE=rajradio;346857] 1. What makes you think the husband in this case not seeing the big picture. 3 % business margin is not feasible. Women and self reliance
[FONT=Times New Roman][SIZE=3]Why are women who insist on being self reliant labeled as home wreckers? I am relatively new to this forum but am shocked at the number of posts where a wife who ?gives up everything for her husband? is praised and is considered more mature. Why is the wife who looks ...

I am confused
Hi, My husband and I both work here and are in non-IT related fields. My main concern about retuning is the lack of opportunities, especially in a tier 2 city.

When a decision is forced upon you, can you find peace?
FIL is the type that believes that working for someone else is slavery, he has been asking my husband to quit for a long time. Plus he is very conservative, he would not talk to me, esp not about finances (a woman's place is in the kitchen, men manage money etc). None of the women in his family has ...

When a decision is forced upon you, can you find peace?
[QUOTE=AriJay;338544]Here is my view. You already mentioned that the business had a thin margin of profit. It looks like his intention is stay close to the family at this moment, which according to me is right one. If he stabilized the business and made profit, you can join with him after 6 months ...
