I heard new thing today that within certain period of time after move to India, I need to close all my foreign bank account. Doesn't makes sense but still throwing out here for more info.

Hi,
I'll be R2I in July but will be employed by US firm, making trips back to US every 3 months. As per 2016 Federal data, will be in 28% tax bracket. While in India, do I need to pay taxes there as well? Currently on GC and never filed taxes in India.
