Accent after R2I
Yes classes can help but is it as easy as flipping a switch and getting a perfect accent? Even actors who try to get a southern accent for their movies struggle a lot to get that authenticity. May be with a lot of work we can get that but it is not that easy I think. [I]That said, even with a ...

Accent after R2I

If you feel that it is important you can put your kids in one of those institutes.[/QUOTE] How authentic sounding are they? If you don't ...

Occupy Wall Street : Flash in the Pan OR Beginning of a Movement

Accent after R2I
I agree professionally the accent doesn't matter in US, but socially it would be good for the kids if they speak just like the natives. For a 18 year old kid(freshman in a dorm) his chance of success is great if he says "How you doing" in American accent than our Indian accent.

Arranged/green card marriage
MB, Forget marriage, you should try to get GC under the investor category. If you can ramp your business to $30k/yr then you should be able to generate $1mil ($500k for rural areas) to apply under entrepreneur category. More information here. Sharing: Here's what my kid did/said
We celebrated janmashtami last month and my wife did the whole nine yards with respect to the pooja. She sat both of our kids one on each side of her and belted out a couple of devotional songs. She then turned and asked my son Mom: What other song do you want to sing khanna? Son (2 1/2 year old ...

So what is so special about Cupertino CA schools?
Does any one know how schools in other states, say NJ, MA , stack up to CUSD. After going through four pages of comments I am convinced that CUSD is the gold standard.

Broken window repair
I replaced a 4'X5' and a 3'X1' dual pane windows for $350 parts and labor. As the previous poster said you can find them in craigslist under the skilled trade section. I would suggest you to look for a licensed, insured and bonded company. Don't hesitate to call more than one company and ask for a ...
