Looks like my package was finally delivered to zip code 73301 on Dec 10 as per USPS Tracking Status (I had mailed it before Dec 9 - so no worries there). However its been close to a week and my check has not been encashed. Somebody mentioned above ...

I maled my OVDI package to Austin, TX by certified mail.

The USPS tracking status currently says : [B]We attempted to deliver your item at XXXX on XXXXX in AUSTIN, TX 73301 and a notice was left because an authorized recipient was not available.[/B]

Should I be worried? Anybody had this experience.

^ Guys, about the 90 days extension request letter:
Did you just send out a plain letter only OR did you also attach other documents such as form 872 etc with the extension request. Pl let me know.

^ There is a number posted on the IRS website : (215) 861-3759 that they say you can call for questions regarding your pre-clearance.

^If it helps, I sent out pre-clearance fax, OVDI Letter and Extension Request - all between Sep 2 and Sep 6.

Haven't got a response on anything so far.
