I use remit functionality of SBI and works good for me. SBI, even though it is run by Govt. and customer service in branches (I've experience only in Kolkata, so can't comment on branches in other parts of India) is bad, the remit works perfect as there is no human interaction needed.

That was my question too. Anybody has experience to share? Thanks
