Raj Thackeray stokes regional divide
Guys, lets not make a big deal out of this. The media is giving it way too much importance because they want sensational news. And this is exactly what people like Raj Thackerey want ... more publicity. Pune is a great place to be and will always be. Fights and riots and regional issues are a common ...

Check out www.hotwire.com or www.priceline.com to look for cheap accomodations in and around the Toronto area. I have used them in the past to get very good deals (~USD 45 for a 3* hotel). Look for accomodations around the Pearson airport OR other suburbs. You could even check ...

ICICI -- Total Dissatisfactory service
Try using the Complaint form on their website. - http://www.icicibank.com/pfsuser/customer/html/customer_carenew_v3.html They claim to be completely transparent; but I would not expect more than a 'apologetic' letter from some officer assuring to look into the matter. But, its worth a try ...

H1B Status with Respect to R2I and R2A
Technically, your H-1B expired when you left your job in the US and relocated to India. The company is supposed to report this to the INS / USCIS (or whatever it is called now).
If you want to get a new job, you have to apply for a fresh H-1B and you will be subject to the quota.

obsession towards Western Countries - Still Exists?
I don't this obsession will ever go down. At least not until the social and financial imbalances are corrected. India is growing, but the growth is benefitting a very small percentage of population. We tend to see this as the measure of how the country is progressing. However, the ground reality is ...
