Indus World School Hyderabad Feedback

My son is going to this school from 2.5yrs. I do not have many complaints on their education system, as I believe in it. But bullying is a big problem and despite repeated complaints, nothing really improved. In a severe bullying scenario(in the bus), I got hold of the kid and warned him, and then ...

Dish Washer - Chennai

I was thinking of buying a dishwasher after almost 2yrs of R2I. I am sick and tired of maids, no matter how nice you treat them, they dont deliver the work. I always rewash the dishes that maids cleaned. Anyway, now I am ready to buy one. My neighbor bought an IFB dishwasher 8months ago. I was there ...

Happy R2I, My Roots!

Congratulations My Roots!!!

When I R2Ied, its summer time in India. I feared the worst. But it turned out to be the best, as my son did not get sick. He started getting sick only after the start of rainy season. So I feel, R2Iing(with kids) in summer is a good option, compared to other seasons.

"Surrender Certificate" for Indian Passport required for USC from May 2010

Thanks for informing us about this new headache. I do not understand how this effects me. Really appreciate if somebody shed some light on my situation. I got my US passport and OCI in 2009. I came to India for good and I have no plans to go out of country in near future. So if I dont have this ...

Should we R2I and when?

You can definitely earn for a few more years in US. Since you have so much flexibility, you can spend time in India whenever you get time and see how it feels. This way you can still enjoy as a couple. If you R2I now itself, it might not take much time to get bored with each other or with the daily ...

Settling down in Blore, hopefully for good :)

That was the EXACT situation in my house too. My son and I watched till the finish and prayed a lot. After the match, I told my son that both India and England won. In the morning, he ran to share it with my father, as he did not watch the game, fearing India's defeat. My father told him that both ...

camcorder

I have been using SONY camcorder from 12yrs. The one I bought in 2000 was still in a very good condition. I bought the newer HD model in Feb 2010 before I R2Ied to India. I bought it for $979.90. I also bought an extra battery, which was very useful. I did not buy extra memory as 120gb was a ...

R2I is worth ANYTHING and EVERYTHING- US to Hyd

Why everybody ask me this again and again? I have two answers, one explaining why. Second option, I just smile. For Indian context, being silent is the best option. Even if I explain, most of the people do not understand. They dont even listen to me. They just advise, 'just join as soon as possible ...
