Ideas for elementary Science Projects/Experiments

We finally decided to do working lung(human:) )project.
There are many videos out there in youtube for this project.
Idea is to use empty water bottles and balloon.
Lesson learned:
I found the used water bottles(Bisleri kind) are not strong enough. The kids at school play and push hard and evetually the bottles broken down at class itself. In the evening they had a science fair where kids get to display their work at gym and all parents are invited to watch. When we went there in the evening, the water bottles were already broke. My daughter said that her friends tried to squeeze it many times in the classroom in the morning and evetually it broken down. She didn't had anything for demo in the evening:(
My suggestion is to buy a sturdy one(even if you pay $2 at dollar store/walmart), it is worth spending the money.
For fancy thing, fill the bottle with colored(red) water.
