Guys,

I'd like for all the members to check out http://www.wikimapia.org

This is a great site where one could go and mark a place, name it, describe it etc. and share the information with friends - both on this forum and outside.

I'd encourage people to understand the features and take advantage by marking historic and other places of importance. In the same breath, I sincerely hope/request nobody abuse the inbuilt features. Let's make sure to pour in more information out there and share the same with all of our dear ones.

Unfortunately, it's a tad slow when compared to Google.

I found these following services very useful : one of them is Ubona, which directly connects you to the restaurant of your choice so that you can make your booking on the go...http://www.ubona.com/htmls/demo.html

If you are planning to order food from home then try http://hungrybangalore.com/ is very convenient.

Now there is a HOME TOWN store in Bangalore - Outer Ring Road Marathalli - like IKEA. You will be able to find all home appliances including solar heaters. May be 25 to 30% more expensive.

Online PAN card application. My neighbor used this service and got the PAN card for his wife. It works.
