Property Managers in Chennai or Mumbai

Post by so_ab »

Hi folks:

Does anyone know of any property managers in Chennai (or) Mumbai. We have a couple of flats in each of these places. Currently, our parents have been helping to oversee these; but they will be moving to the US in the near future.

I am contemplating about taking assistance from professional Property Managers (or) some property management group.

I contacted a company called Knight Frank - but looks like they don't do property management for individual/ independent residences.

If anyone knows of any property managers (or) any other suggestions, pl let me know.

Thanks.

OP

Have you checked out TTK's YourManInIndia.com?

From their website --- "YourManInIndia.com is a venture that caters to every conceivable service need in India of people all over the world. The company is uniquely positioned to be a Service Window for the world to get anything done in India."

Hey, what do you know, they advertise on this forum, too! See the banner and the other (smaller, stamp sized) ads... I should get some referral ;-P

Induslink has no interest in managing properties in Chennai, as their operations have not expanded to Chennai yet, as per their email to me.

Regarding yourmaninindia, I found them, to be too expensive.

Is there any other reliable property managers available to manage my property in Chennai and in Coimbatore? I am seriously looking for a property manager in Coimbatore if not in Chennai.

Would appreciate your input on this.

Thanx,
GPriya.

Hi Sam,

Starting property management company in Coimbatore is a great idea, as there are a lot of NRIs buying properties in Coimbatore nowadays especially after Chennai has become prohibitively expensive. All I am and other NRIs looking for is someone with honesty and reliability to care for their property.

My property is rented out and there are absolutely no issues and the only responsibility of property manager would be to make usre the rent is deposited on time, bills are paid on time and if there are any minor repairs/fixups requested by my tenant, it needs to be taken care. Other than that, it doesn't involve much time or effort.

Well, please keep me posted as to the developments of your new idea and I would be glad to become your first client:emwink: .

Good luck,
GPriya.
