There are a lot of new communities being developed in jaipur. Prices are skyrocketing and this because Delhites are moving to jaipur as it is connected by a good highway plus offers metro facilities. have you ever been to jaipur ? Do you have any freinds/family in jaipur ? I highly recommend you to visit or have some close family member to look at properties. e.g. 2-3 BR flat are easily going for 25+ lacs and Independent houses in the range of 250 yrds are going for $50+ lacs in decent areas. I do not know where it will stop but right now it is just going up and up.

hope this helps

What do you think about plots in vatika city, omaxe etc on jaipur ajmer highway. Vatika is offering Rs 7500/sq yd
is that a reasonable price ? or should I buy a house inside jaipur city ?

It is a good price. The way prices are going up, if you wait another year it may be over 10,000 sq yd. I dont have much info about OMAXE yet, other than whatever i can get from their website. Another good option to south of Airport and in pratap nagar area and look in http://www.jaipurjda.org/Presentations/NRI.pdf

Also, Rajasthan Housing Board has NRI Colony, Raj Aangan.

I will keep posting more information as i find out.

hope it helps.

GoldIeg,

Can you please update about the status of Jaipur RE?.

Are there any Tech Companies in Jaipur? Can you some links to the maps of Jaipur and Real Estate Websites which have good updates.

How is the land grabbing scenario in Jaipur?. Can people from other states come and invest safely?.

TIA.

Jaipur RE is really very hot. Prices have doubled and trebled in last 1 year around Malviya nagar, Bapu Nagar, C-scheme etc.
Outskirts have Jagatpura, Jhotwara, Pratap Nagar witnessed very good appreciation.
But in terms of due dilligence it is a nightmare. If you ask for property papers the broker never comes back. They are just there to get the deal clicked somehow and rejoice with there commissions. All the deals are done without any due dilligence.
I wuld advice you to get hold of some Lawyer/ CA or ur own folks to do some proper due dilligence before investing.
Lots of money is flowing from Delhi and market has not cooled off even though I was expecting it since more than a year.
Hope this helps.
