Start a consulting company in USA

ok guys , so I was thinking of starting a consulting company in USA . I already have some good contacts with big vendors .

Can anybody guide me on how to proceed ahead . I googled for this info , but I got all incomplete answers .

So here are my questions
1. What kind of company I need to register - S corp , LLC or something else
2. Where to register ?
3. I know that since I am on H1B , I cannot be an employee and employer both at the same time .
4. I am looking forward to just being a middle vendor , where I search for candidates and divert them to the direct vendor . So , can I not get this margin (Profit ) ?
5. Any personal experiences appreciated .
6. What do I need to do in order to maintain the status of this company .
7. Obviously , I want to do this side by side with my current job

Even if you are middle layer/vendor, you have to sign check for sub-contracting companies which is considered as "work" for your company...
