Hello,
I have an investment account with Scottrade. When I R2I'ed last year, Scottrade said they don't support non-US addresses. I just tried creating an account in Vanguard (online), but faced the same problem. I am looking for a company that supports Indian address so I can operate it from here. Please help.
FWIW, here're my details: I am a USC, R2I'ed last year, 2 more years of RNOR left.
Thanks in advance !

Any update ?
Did you find any answer to this Q that i am sure we all R2Is will face...
I am still in USA
I have been with Vanguard for 10 years....will hate to change the whole investment profolio to another out-fit.

01. I believe Vanguard allows a foreign address. There are no restrictions in redemptions but bying may have some stipulations. Why not ask them at 800-962-5209.
02. Also, for moving assets from one institution to another an "in kind" transfer without liquidation is often possible.

My feeling is that this is pretty much subject to the broker's interpretation. Some investment companies do not allow foreign investors. I think the only exception to this rule is that if you are an USC with payment in USD but working remotely from India, then it should not be a problem. In that case, your legal address (for tax purposes) will be your US employer's address & mailing address can be your Indian residential address.
