Commute time from Koramangala to Sarjapur ORR: pl advice

Moving to Bangalore shortly and considering renting in the Koramangala area while husband and kids commute to Sarjapur. I know it's not far as the crow flies, but concerned about the terrible traffic in Koramangala. My other alternative is to rent in Sarjapur, but don't much like the area.

Can anyone advise roughly how much time it might take in the morning ( say 8 am) and then again in the evening around 7pm? Grateful for any tips.

From around the Inner Ring Road, Koramangala area to the Outer Ring Road/Sarajapur Road junction would take around 20-25 minutes at around 8 am in the morning.. But from after 8:30 am, it could easily take around 45 minutes..Any major traffic jams around any intersections would still increase your commute time..

Hi,
I live in Koramangala and commute to Sarjapur ORR twice a week. The commute is less than 30/35 min at 8am in the morning. At 7pm you would have about 40 min to an hour. Once the bridge is complete, this time will probably reduce.

If you can rent an apartment in and around Sarjapur-Outer Ring road, I would prefer so. There are plenty of them , in fact. Though the traffic time is only about 30-40 min, its not guaranteed everyday.

Commute time is relative. If you reduce one, you increase the other. Find a good place to live nearby (you have to decide upon the definition of nearby) and you can resolve the commute issue.

I might be on the same route come September but even longer.. going all the way to ITPL? any idea how long that might take given that a flyover has now opened.
