I'm curious to whats the trend for casual birthday parties for kids( between ages 5 -10 years) in Hyderabad. Are the parties given at a venue( like bounce you/wacky gym etc are popular places in US) or are they celebrated at home with a pizza and cake calling few kids from the neighborhood

Well, it all depends on how much you are willing to spend. Some of my cousins celebrated their kids birthday at hotels such as Central Court etc. I was told that the price which runs into more than a lakh for a 200-300 guests includes, magic show, face painting decorations etc.
I heard they have some kids exclusive birthday venues near the necklace road as well. Don't have much details...

I'm aware of the birthdays in parks,resorts and hotels. I'm under the impression those are mostly for 1st birthdays . My question was about casual birthdays for just classmates or kids in the development

There are several places where you can host Bday parties near HiTech city. Most popular are Fun City (Inorbit mall), Oogles&Googles (Jublee Hills), Sweet Nirvana (Madhapur), SVM mall (Jublee Hills) and places like Pizza Corner, McDonalds, etc.. It's hard to host a party for the entire class at home, so these places would be better option.
