2) If R2I, How long did you live away from India before moving back? Where do you live in India?

Yes to both, have one girl.
4) Do you and your spouse work outside of your house? If yes, which field?

One boy and one girl, yes married before having my kids : )

Non IT, yes both work
5) Do you and your spouse work in the same area?
Sort of

Yes, may be in next 5 years, not sure
7) Anything else that you would like to share like your hobbies, your passion, your talent etc
Like to read , write, poetry (Shakespeare sonnets are my fav), politics, humor, music, movies...........but since I am working mom, I dream about them now and that makes me happy...............

Considering R2I ,, if works out Pune will be the choice city.

Yes and not yet.

Not many hobbies except watching reruns of sitcoms. A carefully cultivated talent would be to talk endlessly about everything that is absolutely meaningless !!

2) If R2I, How long did you live away from India before moving back? Where do you live in India? Not exactly r2I. But, lived in India for a year in 2006. Bangalore.
3) Are you married and have kids? If yes, how many? Married twice. Same girl ;-) And one beautiful 2 yr old.
4) Do you and your spouse work outside of your house? If yes, which field? I work in IT. I successfully spoiled her career by marrying her and making her a dependent. :-(
5) Do you and your spouse work in the same area? Yes. When she used to work.
6) Do you have plans of R2I now, in near future or for retirement?Yes, 2011 August 30th.

Passions: Netflix-ing, Indian Parallel Cinema, Ghulam Ali, Illayaraja, old hindi movies.
Golf, Chess, NHL and NFL.

Here is my first posting in this forum!
Being a silent reader since many months, I have taken the plunge to become a new member to this amazing & lively forum. Why it took so long? Well, Basically, I visited this forum more often than not, to learn and understand many issues:idea: like R2I, finance, family job etc etc, and I could get many answers from the rich repository of information for many queries/issues without the need to raise a question. It is like a reference library! Sometimes just to have fun in reading some interesting debates:)).
All the experts like RRK, Desi, Sigma, Rigmarole, Rajsriadit, Rajesh, Venkat and many more are doing a commendable service in this forum by sharing their invaluable opinions/suggestions/guidance to many who directly/indirectly benefitted. Be it finding a cable in a store in Chennai or ideas of investing lifetime savings, buying a house etc to solving family issues. Not to forget those useful discussions on family matters from many members like Sumas, Myroots, Vivendis, rimjhims, dbss, kirks etc and those punch lines from Going_nowhere, PG, Chakra, Maya1, Modus_Vivendi etc and many more. And some touching diaries/posts by Chaklilvr, Anvesha etc. And there were some postings that really made my day and some took me down the memory lane of my school/college days. Hope to be active member trying to share many things besides keep learning.
Hats off to everybody who actively contributed in a positive way!!! Keep it up!! :thup:
