Did Swami Paramahamsa Nithyananda not run several institutions with his (public) money?
I saw the title Amritananda Mayi and thought you referred Mata Amritananda Mayi and gave my initial comment. I realized at 5.45 that the first video was not hers and I deleted the post at 5.54pm.
Then again I realized that the second video was indeed of Mata Amritanandamayi.
I realized that you have not done the home work. The former name of the person in the first video under Amritanandamayi is not Sudhamani. The former name of the person in the second video under Amritanandamayi is indeed Sudhamani.

Almost all the religious traditions in India, have great respect for the Guru. For the true guru, the disciples perform paduka puja. There are false prophets and gurus. I will not talk about them. If your gripe is against false gurus or whom you think as false gurus, then I guess it's ok. But, if your gripe is against the entire tradition or religion, then you are inviting all the members that have respect left for their tradition to voice their opinions.
Being an atheist is not an excuse to slander religion or shall I say, selectively slander one particular religion or its practices.
Pada puja etc are forms of adoration that faithful disciples do to their Gurus. Now, some gurus may not be deserving it. But that doesn't make the entire practice an object of mockery unless you derive some vicarious pleasure in damning every practice of Hinduism or you have an hidden agenda.. I am saying all these because, you didn't bother to even check whose videos you are posting.
