Aa_Ab_Laut_Chale;216978This thread is getting very nostalgic. Brings back memories from 9 years ago, following were the 'addas' we used to go
Some small place at Deccan Gymkhana for Saboodana Khichadi

Truly Nostalgic.

Appa’s Khichadi Kakadi. (Appa's Canteen - between the cricket ground and the tennis courts)

Seconding @returnindia123's suggestions. I have tried most of these except #5,10,11 and would heartily recommend them.

Purepur Kolhapur is the name of the restaurant that one of the poster was alluding to where they have the 0 miles to Kolhapur milestone. Must try according to that Vikram Karve guy ( his reviews make my mouth moist as someone I know would say)

somehow last two time when we went to Purepur Kolhapur(one bwteen kothrud n karve nagar) the food was not so good. in fact we have put this place on not to go list for now. possibly problem only with this particular branch because earlier visits to branch in sadashiv peth were good..

In August I visited Pune and we found Shabari (FC Road) to be the best Maharastrian Food. I have been a regular customer of Shabari for over 15 years and am glad they are still good.

Yellow Chilli, a all-india chain by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, is also very nice. It is Koregaon Park. The food is a little on the mild side and well suited for our US-born kids who don't eat as much spicy food. :p

Yanni on FC road for Sizzlers is also fair.

For vegeterians, SOUL KITCH is a good place for lunch/dinner buffets. Same place as Little Italy on University Road, besides Central mall. They have a combination of Oriental,Continental,Thai, Indian in their made to order buffet.

Other place, if you like Mutton Raan is Marakeesh, Kalyani Nagar.

I was not very satisfied with Green park in Baner. Instead, try hotel Bhairavi.
