I’m glad people liked Khan (My Name is Khan) all over the world for a very simple reason. I’m not claiming to know everything but I do know that as a Muslim it’s important for me to tell the world who we really are. It’s important for us to explain Islam to the world and it’s important for the world to know Islam and what it truly stands for.

The truth is,....... SRK is a pakka businessman n' a true Deshdrohi.
He knows that his movies must run in Pakistaan for his name, fame and success ( hence, bitterness can not be afforded )
plus,...in no case, he should end up by himself in any sour relationship either with Pakistaan, Dawood, Shakeel or any such,...... that he may suffer either his/immediate member's life loss,...or,.... threats like Gulshan Kumar, Rakesh roshan or such,... !!
After 26/11 the guy goes underground and does not show up in media for any kind of statements encouraging the patriotism, as being a super-star-da King Khan of current time,.....
and 6-9 mos later on some award function,........ when everthg has calmed down,..... the guy is ready for “Shyaan patti” and "Shaanaa giri “ kind of a Shaahukaar's business,...
w/ his out of flavor and stale, useless speeches of ,....... "I do not encourage,..that’s is not Islam and Islam never teaches these,...”. and thus safeguarding and cornering the religion, and also gaining the public's sympathy and appreciation in his own favor !! What a Pity !

My point is I don't want to know what Islam or muslimgiri is through SRK. He is giving an interview to Pakistani media and goes on to say "it is important to tell the world who WE ARE". That means he identifies himself more of Paki than anything else. He has balls to repeat these shenanigans time and again. Just sometime back it was " they are good neighbors"

SRK: Art is always going to go beyond boundaries. Primarily, all a good film needs to do is entertain. Enjoyable cinema will always transcend boundaries and we are so similar as a people that we laugh at the same things and cry at the same things. But why restrict the question to India and Pakistan?

If you read the whole interview, his remarks above do not come across like you portrayed. He is busy promoting his 'Don-2' and he is entertainer first and foremost and even above remark is on promotion and good roles than showing that he is a Muslim first..
