I got my BSNL broadband connection in 2 weeks. I've also set up my wireless n/w. So far, so good...

Can you please let me know which wireless router did you use? Can you recommend one to buy from here (US)?

Both the modem and the router are the ones I had in the US. The router is a netgear wgr614 and the modem is a speedstream 1500. Took a bit of hacking to get it going but it works.

I use hathway at Kothrud for past 2 years and the speed is fantastic. Sometimes it is faster than my connection that I had in new york, believe it or not. Weekends the connections are indeed slower, but that is with all vendors here in pune. BSNL is good for browsing and checking emails, but if you want better uptime and heavy web usage, go for hathway or reliance .

I went with Airtel because did not have any other option in Baner. So far, have had no issues. We do get 2 MBPS for now & Airtel might eventually upgrade it to 4 MBPS.
